Anthony J. Schmidt Elementary School

A.J. Schmidt Elementary School celebrated Veterans Day with a special community breakfast honoring those who have served. Students invited family members, friends, and community veterans to join them for a morning of gratitude and reflection.

The event featured student poetry readings that highlighted the meaning of service, sacrifice, and patriotism. Each poem was a heartfelt expression of appreciation for the veterans in attendance.

It was a wonderful turnout that brought together generations to share stories, smiles, and thanks. A sincere thank-you to all veterans for your service—and to our students and staff for creating such a meaningful celebration.
